The primary aim of Federation of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (FAME) is to ensure uncompromised aircraft safety by creating a supportive, fair and professional environment for aircraft maintenance personnel.

Objective of FAME

Aircraft Safety & Airworthiness Objectives
Promote zero-compromise safety culture in aircraft maintenance. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and OEM standards. Encourage reporting culture and human factor awareness. Prevent pressure-driven, unsafe and shortcut maintenance practices.

Maintenance Personnel Welfare Objectives
Advocate fair wages and equal pay for equal work. Address duty hours, fatigue management and rest policies. Protect rights of permanent, contractual, FTE and temporary staff. Promote mental health, job security and work–life balance.

Professional Growth & Recognition Objectives
Promote skill development, training and knowledge sharing. Provide mentorship to young engineers and technicians. Enhance dignity and recognition of the maintenance profession

System & Policy Improvement Objectives
Act as a bridge between workforce, management and regulators. Provide constructive inputs on aviation and labour policies. Support grievance redressal and transparent governance.
